October 19th marks the return of Francis Ngannou to MMA. After more than two years away, part of them dedicated to boxing, the Cameroonian faces the Brazilian Renan Problem in the main fight of PFL: Battle of Giants, an event that takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and could mark the beginning of the final stretch of the 'Predator's' career.

In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', Ngannou assured that, at 38 years of age, he will be physically fit to return at a high level against Problema in the PFL.

“My body is holding up well. Obviously I had knee surgery, but that was over two years ago. It took me over a year to come back, but now I’m very strong. By the time I get to the fight I’m going to be very strong. I can even kick. It’s not my specialty, but I kick,” joked the fighter.

“I have an appetite to get back into boxing. I still have a few fights left in both sports. I just turned 38, I think I’ll retire when I’m 41 or 42. It could be 40, but only in an exceptional case. Right now I think I need to enjoy my time in the decagon and in the ring, have my last dance and go home,” said the former UFC champion.
