After more than a month with events at the 'Sphere', in Paris and in Salt Lake City, Ultimate returns home and reopens the doors of the 'Apex' for the UFC Las Vegas 98, this Saturday (12). The event is led by the crucial duel between the flyweights (up to 56,7 kg) Brandon royval e Tatsuro Taira, which could define the next challenger for the belt Alexandre pantoja, and also features two Brazilians in action on the preliminary card.
In straw weight (up to 52,1 kg), Julia Polastri, representative of Baixada Fluminense, seeks her first victory as an Ultimate fighter. Replacing her compatriot Polyana viana, the Brazilian faces the Welsh Cory Mckenna in the third fight of the night.
The first athlete to step into the octagon this Saturday will be Lucas Rocha. Signed through the Contender Series in 2023, the 'Phenomenon' debuts in the organization against the undefeated Clayton Carpenter in a flyweight duel.

Scheduled to start at 17pm (Brasília time), the UFC Las Vegas 98 will be broadcast in full on UFC Fight Pass, Ultimate's official streaming platform. The main card is scheduled to start at 20pm.
