At 33, Carlos Ulberg is ranked tenth in the light heavyweight rankings. Riding a six-fight winning streak, the last five by interruption, the New Zealander faces Volkan oezdemir, owner of the sixth position, in UFC Macau, in November, and hopes a win will be enough to put him on the path to Poatan.
“Once I get through Volkan oezdemir, which is certainly a difficult mission, the path will be open and I will have the opportunity to fight for the light heavyweight title. As you saw, the eighth-placed fighter just fought for the title, so at any moment I can be called too”, he concluded.
