Conor McGregor will have to face a new opponent in the coming months, and this opponent will not be inside the octagon. On November 5, the fighter is expected in a trial regarding a charge of sexual violence of the year in December 2018, which reportedly took place in a hotel in Dublin.

The Irishman avoided going to criminal court and was settled with a multi-million dollar payout in 2021, shortly before the second meeting with Dustin poirier. Despite this, he still needs to appear before the judge.
The trial was initially scheduled to take place in July this year, however, the Irishman's legal team asked for it to be postponed so that he could prepare for the confrontation with Michael chandler. Now, after the fight was canceled, McGregor will have to appear at the hearing.
Conor McGregor
This is not the first court case involving Conor McGregor. Since becoming one of the most popular figures in the world, the Irishman has starred in a series of controversial episodes. In 2018, he was arrested after vandalizing a UFC bus carrying Khabib Nurmagomedov and other athletes to a hotel in New York.
The fighter too attacked a man in a pub in Ireland in 2019 and destroyed the cell phone from a fan after a party in Miami that same year. He has also been involved in repeated accusations of sexual crimes. Absent from the octagon since 2021, there is no forecast for his return.
