There are 37 days left until the long-awaited fight between Mike Tyson e Jake Paul. And if the boxing legend's gloves are as 'sharp' as his tongue, the YouTuber is really in trouble. During a press conference this Thursday (10), Tyson made journalists laugh with his answers that looked more like a right cross.

At one point, a reporter asked if the multiple world boxing champion thought his opponent was taking the fight seriously. That's because Tyson called Jake Paul 'fat' after the YouTuber released a training video.

“Of course I think he’s training very, very seriously… because his health depends on it,” Tyson said, drawing laughter from the journalists present.

The 58-year-old fighter also took the opportunity to say that he is not looking at the past as Jake Paul, but rather to the present moment. This is because, after calling Paul fat, the YouTuber remembered Tyson's fight against Buster Douglas, the first to beat the multi-champion by knockout in a ring. Before that fight, which took place on February 11, 1990, the multi-champion had also called Douglas fat.

Tyson added a cherry on the cake when he answered the reporter's second question, who wanted to know why he would fight if he no longer has to prove anything to anyone.

“I don’t know. It’s a kind of funeral being watched live by more than 80 people,” he concluded.
