Former 'BMF' champion, Justin gaethje, is still recovering after being knocked out by Max Holloway at UFC 300, held in April. Despite the setback, his manager, Ali Abdelaziz, has already started to outline the next steps and suggested a date and some names of possible opponents for the fighter's return.
In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', Abdelaziz stated that, although there is no set date yet, Gaethje should only return to the octagon in 2025, after a period of rest. According to the businessman, the impact of the last fight requires a longer recovery time.

"Justin gaethje will fight in March. Against who, I have no idea. But I would like to see Justin fight in March. He needs some time to recover after his last fight. He deserves it.” said the agent.
Throughout his UFC career, Gaethje has built a reputation as one of the most exciting fighters in the organization, earning eight Fight of the Night bonuses. In total, Gaethje has accumulated 13 bonuses in 13 UFC appearances. and as such has never been picky about his opponents. Abdelaziz admitted that there are a few names on the table, but stressed that the fighter has no preferences.
“I believe he will be ready to fight in March. Against whom? It could be Dan Hooker. It might be Dustin poirier. It could be Mohawk. Justin gaethje does not choose opponents.” concluded Abdelaziz.

Justin gaethje, 35, is a former UFC interim lightweight champion and former holder of the 'BMF' belt. The American had 13 fights in the Ultimate where he won eight and lost five, receiving post-fight bonuses in all appearances. The fighter is currently recovering from a defeat he suffered in April when he was knocked out by Max Holloway No. UFC 300.
