Acelino 'Popó' Freitas' opponent in the main fight of Fight Music Show 5, last Saturday (12), Jorge 'El Chino' Miranda was not satisfied with the decision of the judges, who unanimously declared the Brazilian's victory, nor with the confusion regarding the number of rounds in the duel.
In an interview given to 'ge' after the event, the Argentine said he believed he deserved to leave the duel against the Brazilian legend with at least a draw.

“For me, it was a draw. He tried several strikes, but missed many. Several times they went to the side. At one point in the first round he tried to hit me with a cross, I dodged it and returned with a good strike that I had been practicing. I almost knocked him down,” he argued.
Another criticism from 'El Chino' was in relation to the confusion surrounding the number of rounds in the duel with Popó. The Argentinean felt harmed by the rule change in the middle of the fight.
“I came to Brazil, worked hard and prepared for the fight. They said it would be four rounds. When the third round ended, they changed it to six rounds. Then they changed it again to five. We didn’t understand anything. I was saving my energy to knock him out in the sixth round,” he lamented.
Despite criticism of the judges and the organization, 'El Chino' Miranda believes that the outcome of the duel against Popó was positive.
“I’m very happy. We treated the public to a real fight. He’s a very respected boxer, but it had been a while since he’d fought a real boxer. He’d been fighting with influencers, who are young guys who know the sport. I came, challenged him, and we had a great fight,” he concluded.
