The biggest of the biggest! The fight against Ngannou for PFL Super Fights: Battle of Giants this Saturday (19), in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will have a special flavor for Renan Problem. The Brazilian believes that the fact that his opponent left the UFC undefeated and without losing the heavyweight belt (up to 120,2 kg), still places him as the main name in the category.
Considered one of the division's greatest talents over the past decade, Francis Ngannou returns to MMA after almost three years and debuts in the PFL this Saturday in a duel against the Brazilian, current heavyweight champion. During an interview with MMA fighting, this Tuesday (15), Renan Problem explained what is at stake in this fight.
“This puts me in a comfortable position. Beating a great champion who didn’t lose his belt and left undefeated (from the UFC)… so this battle, this fight, has a special flavor,” he commented.

Renan was also asked by the reporter if a victory over the Cameroonian would put him above Jon Jones, current holder of the UFC belt in the category.
“Absolutely! I have shown great work, I have great knockouts, very quick and expressive fights. Few heavyweights have done what I did, knockouts in so few seconds, clean knockouts. So it is difficult for anyone to beat what I have been doing for some time. If I win this fight, I think I will be the linear champion”, he concluded.
This Saturday's PFL Super Fights: Battle of Giants (19) features two more title fights, including the Brazilian duel between Chris Cyborg e Larissa pacheco in featherweight (up to 65,7 kg).
