Almost three years separated the last fight of Francis Ngannou in the UFC and the debut in the PFL, held last Saturday (19) with victory over Renan Problem and winning the heavyweight belt (up to 120,2 kg). The Cameroonian, however, guarantees that he will be back in a much shorter time window until the next commitment, even though he does not know in which modality it will be disputed.
In an interview with Canadian journalist Ariel Helwani, the 'Predator' indicated the second quarter of 2025, between the months of May and August, as a possible period to return to action. The Cameroonian made himself available to listen to the best proposals from the PFL and boxing.

“I think in the second quarter of 2025. It could be in MMA or boxing. I don’t know yet. I don’t have anything defined. I think it depends on the organization. If the PFL comes up with a fight or date, maybe we’ll work on that. If it’s in boxing, the same,” said Ngannou.
In addition to big names in MMA and boxing, a third way has opened up for Francis Ngannou recently. The Cameroonian expressed interest in a possible fight against Dutchman Rico Verhoeven, heavyweight champion of Glory, the world's largest kickboxing organization and striking legend.
