Away from competitions since 2021, Conor McGregor still raises doubts about a possible return to the UFC. For Dana White, however, the former champion could return to fight in 2025, although his motivation is in question given the financial comfort and business activities he maintains.
Although he admits that McGregor's accumulated fortune could make it difficult for him to return to the octagon, Dana stated on the show 'Outta Pocket with RGIII', on YouTube, who is confident the Irishman will return next year.

“Conor has gotten to a point where he’s made so much money and, you know, he’s got all these businesses that continue to make him a lot of money. It’s hard to get back up and fight when you’re in his position. However, I’m sure that Conor McGregor will fight in 2025”, said the UFC president.
the return of Conor McGregor was scheduled for the UFC 303, which happened in June, against Michael chandler, but the Irishman suffered a new toe injury, and the fight had to be postponed.
With the confirmation of the duel between Chandler and Charles of the Bronx protocols for UFC 309, in November, Conor was left without an opponent and took aim at Dan Hooker, fifth in the lightweight rankings (up to 70,3 kg), to return to action.
