“After the fight with Jon Jones, I felt like people were really mad. The loss helped me grow a little bit more. In my sport, losing like that is a lot of pain. And with the people, the media and everything, it was really hard at first. But I stayed strong. I kept my positivity the whole time. I worked hard, but I was impeccable, win after win, win after win, and a loss like that: I was like, 'Okay, I have to train harder than this. I have to do more.' Now, I'm focused on the little things that are really important to grow,” revealed the former interim champion.
At 34, Cyryl Gane boasts a record of 12 wins and just 2 losses. The Frenchman made his last appearance in September 2023, when he won Serghei Spivac by technical knockout. He already has a fight scheduled against Alexander Volkov protocols for UFC 310, which takes place in December.
