Alex Poatán opened up about the possibility of his sister, Aline Pereira, taking part in the biggest MMA event in the world. In an interview with the podcast 'The Ariel Helwani Show', the Brazilian showed enthusiasm for the fighter's evolution and believes that she is close to achieving her dream of competing in the UFC.
“I don’t think she’s far behind. She’s doing an excellent job. Of course, she doesn’t have a good record for the UFC, but she has this fight, and people can see a little bit of her work. It’s a matter of opportunity. Who wouldn’t want to see Alex’s sister, the champion’s sister? I think it’s something that will sell a lot, but not just because she’s my sister. That helps, but look at the work she did, look at the knockout,” added the champion.
