Max Holloway is by far one of the most popular and beloved figures among MMA fans around the world. At just 32 years old, the Hawaiian has been part of the UFC since 2012, and over the course of more than a decade, he has collected impressive feats. The victories over José Aldo accredited him as the featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg.) between 2017 and 2019, while performances as against Brian ortega e Calvin kattar made him one of the most interesting fighters to watch.

However, perhaps the most impressive feat of the 'blessed' man's career was achieved in his last performance. In the legendary UFC 300, the athlete shocked the world by moving up in weight and knocking out Justin gaethje in the last second of the fifth round, winning the BMF belt. The victory catapulted Holloway even further among fans and media, in addition to qualifying him for a title fight in his original division, against the undefeated Ilia Topuria.

Unprecedented feat

Despite already having an extremely successful career, a triumph against Topuria this Saturday (26), in the main fight of the UFC 308, which takes place in Abu Dhabi and is broadcast PODCASTS do SUPER FIGHTS, would allow Holloway to achieve a feat never before achieved in the history of the organization. If he defeats 'el matador', the Hawaiian will become the first BMF champion to win a linear title at the same time.

BMF Belt

Originally created in UFC 244, for the fight between Nate diaz e Jorge masvidal, the BMF belt was won by the 'Jesus of the streets'. Next, 'gamebred' fought for the linear welterweight title against Kamaru Usman, being defeated.
