The 'Ballon d'Or' award, reserved for the best football player of the season and won by the Spanish Rodri, athlete of Manchester City, last Monday (28) was the main topic of the day in world sport and revolted many fans who expected to see the Brazilian Vinicius Junior, of Real Madrid, awarded. Accustomed to controversy, Jake Paul could not stay out of this and ended up being accused of racism by followers after making a 'joke' in very poor taste about the situation.
In a post on social media, the YouTuber and boxer made a joke comparing Vinicius Junior to YouTuber Deji, KSI's younger brother, another YouTube star who has been venturing into boxing in recent years.

“What the f*** was that? Didn’t Deji win the Ballon d’Or?” he wrote. Jake Paul.
With many fans betting on the racial issue as one of the main factors for Vinicius Junior, an exponent of the fight against racism in European football, not being awarded the 'Ballon d'Or', the comparison of Jake Paul between the athlete and YouTuber Deji, made exclusively because of skin color, generated immediate outrage from followers, who responded to the publication.
“Being racist to someone who supports you? No, that was not cool,” wrote a follower sharing a comment from Vinicius Junior on a post by Jake Paul.
“You’re just another racist clown hiding behind your money. What a f***ing clown,” wrote another user.
“You are as racist as France Football,” said a third user, referring to the French publication responsible for the Ballon d'Or.
