Alex Poatan reinforces Whindersson Nunes' training before fight at Mike Tyson and Jake Paul event

Whindersson Nunes had a very heavy reinforcement about two weeks before returning to the boxing ring to face Neeraj Goyat at the 'Mike Tyson x Jake Paul' on November 15, in the United States. Last Saturday (2), the UFC light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg) Alex Poatán reinforced the comedian's last training session on Brazilian soil, held at the 'The Fighting Nerds' gym, in São Paulo.

A legend of striking, with two GLORY Kickboxing belts under his belt, as well as two UFC titles, Poatan took advantage of his time in the capital of São Paulo to sharpen, albeit briefly but certainly valuable, the Piauí native's game in the noble art.

Comedian, YouTuber, influencer, singer, and now also a boxer, Whindersson Nunes had his first experience in boxing in 2019, but gained even more notoriety when he faced multiple world champion Acelino 'Popó' Freitas in an exhibition fight in the first edition of Fight Music ShowIn 2022.

In 2023, Whindersson participated in a boxing tournament for influencers in the United Kingdom, knocking out Polish Filipek in the quarter-finals, but being dominated by British King Kenny in the semi-finals.

In the same year, the Brazilian returned to the ring for his first fight valid for the professional record, when he was defeated by fellow YouTuber My Mate Nate.

After just over a year without fighting, Whindersson Nunes returns to the ring to face Neeraj Goyat, one of the top Indian boxers. The duel takes place at the event that has as its main fight the fight between Jake Paul e Mike Tyson, on November 15, in Texas, United States.
