Alex Poatán has been taking advantage of his 'break' from the octagon to rest and travel with his family. After a brief visit to Brazil, the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg.) returned to the United States this Tuesday (5), where he lives, in Connecticut. While passing through New York with his two children, Poatan received quite a gift from a jewelry store, in honor of one of the fighter's nicknames: 'Stone Head'.

The nickname, affectionately given by fans, reflects Poatan's serious appearance and has become a symbol of the Brazilian fighter's strength. So much so that he even installed two statues with stone heads. at the front door.
Now, Poatan has a new piece in his collection. After recording his children receiving Rolexes from the jewelry store, the champion was also surprised with a gift: a head made of… gold! In the video, published in the fighter's Instagram stories, the fan used the expression 'flame', one of the Brazilian's trademarks, and added that 'that gift was to match the gold belt'. (see below)
It seems that the fighter's travels have yielded some good luck charms. In addition to the gold head chain, the UFC champion received a new headdress of the shaman chief of the Siratã Mantxó village, Ubiranan Pataxó. Poatan, who is due to return to work in January next year, said he intends to use the new accessory in his next fights.
