
Anatoly Malykhin and Reug Reug 'made out' before being separated / Reproduction
Anatoly Malykhin and Reug Reug starred in a 'bizarre' scene during a pre-fight staredown on Wednesday (6). Both are headlining ONE 169, but it seems they forgot the number '1' in front of the event's name when they came face to face.

Three-division ONE champion Malykhin and the challenger traded taunts and stirred up the crowd. Just when things seemed to calm down, they engaged in a standing clinch. The scene only ended after both were separated by a series of security guards on stage. (see video below)

This is the first time Malykhin, also known as ‘Spartak’, has put the heavyweight title (up to 120,2 kg) on the line. The fighter is also the organization’s light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) and middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) champion, compiling an overall record of 14 wins, with a perfect run of six wins and no losses in ONE.
Reug Reug has a record of six wins and one loss in MMA and is ready to compete in his first fight since defeating Marcus Buchecha at ONE Fight Night 13 in August 2023.
The two heavyweights will face each other for the title next Friday (8) at ONE 169, which takes place at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
