Carlos Prates shows sincerity and reacts to comparisons with Anderson Silva: 'I don't feel pressure'

Carlos Prates earned his UFC contract with a brutal knockout on the 'Contender Series', which earned him praise from Dana White. “It’s good, I don’t feel any pressure, to be honest. I just go into the cage and try to do my best. I can win the fight, but if I don’t do my best, I’m not happy, you know. All the time, I try to do my best and of course, I hear about the comparison with Anderson Silva. It's really cool, but I'm working hard so that maybe in five or ten years, Dana White will come up to another guy and say, 'Hey, this guy looks like Carlos Prates at its peak.'” said the 'Nightmare'.

Carlos Prates debuted in the UFC in February 2024, defeating Trevin giles by knockout in the second round. He then went through Charlie Radtke with a knockout four minutes into the fight.
