Khalil rountree ordered battle kit to be framed in front of Poatan / Reproduction Instagram
We often see athletes framing their achievements so that they can later be part of their home decor. It's also a chance to always look at them, remember them, and tell visitors about that triumph. But that's not the case. Khalil rountree. Despite being defeated by Alex Poatán in contention for the light heavyweight title (up to 93 kg.) in UFC 307, last month, the American had a 'kit' from that battle framed.

The voracious momentum with which Rountree began the fight was surprising. The 'War Horse' took no notice of Poatan in the first two rounds and really bothered the Brazilian. However, the current champion was cool and calculating. He was able to turn the situation around in the third round and then punished Rountree until he suffered a technical knockout in the fourth round.
But it seems that Rountree is mature enough to learn from his defeat. Through the stories on his official Instagram profile, the American showed off a kit he had framed from his defeat to Poatan: the banner from the fight, three photos (of him hitting, not getting hit), as well as the pair of gloves and shorts used in the fight. The latter was completely stained with blood. (see below)

Rountree also had the moment he stared down Poatan framed, before the UFC 307, thus creating a kind of 'temple' of that bloody battle. Will War Horse be able to find the inspiration he seeks in the octagon every time he looks at the paintings?
