Although they attend the same gym, Usman said he is not Rakhmonov's training partner. Therefore, this would not be an obstacle for the two to share the octagon at the event on December 7, in Las Vegas Valley.

“First of all, I want to make one thing clear: We are not teammates. He comes and trains at my gym, where I’ve been for most of my career, the last four or five years. That’s where I still am.
