Jake Paul revealed a little-explored side of his personality: fear. On the eve of the super fight against Mike Tyson, scheduled for next Friday (15) at AT&T Stadium, in Dallas (USA), the young athlete admitted to feeling a deep respect and fear for the former world heavyweight champion.
In a face-to-face interview with Tyson for his YouTube channel, Paul admitted to being concerned about how the fight would play out. He acknowledged that he cannot underestimate Tyson and highlighted the former champion's impressive reputation and strength.

“I have to be on my toes. This is a scary man. He’s a killer and he still has all the power, clearly, in all the videos and workouts he shows. My mom is texting me saying she can’t even watch Tyson throw punches. She won’t watch it because it scares her. Despite having an exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, Tyson has been retired from professional boxing since 2005. At 58 years old and with 50 professional victories, 44 by knockout, the veteran was the heavyweight world champion between 1986 and 1990.
In its turn, Jake Paul, at 27 years old, has 10 wins and one loss. He triumphed against well-known fighters in the world of MMA, such as Nate diaz and former UFC champions Anderson Silva e Tyron woodley.
