Brazil debuted in the UFC 309, an event held this Saturday (16), on the right foot. Eduardo Moura imposed a good rhythm, took advantage of his wingspan, shook Veronica Hardy and won the Venezuelan by unanimous decision of the judges. The fight was held in the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg).

With this result, Eduarda achieved her second victory in three UFC fights. The Brazilian now has a record of ten positive results and only one negative.

Veronica, on the other hand, has had her three-fight winning streak interrupted. The fighter has a record of nine wins and four losses, in addition to one fight without a result.

Eduarda Moura does well and surpasses Veronica Hardy

The study of fights was the synthesis of the first round. With good punches in the exchange, Eduarda imposed her rhythm in the short distance and got a valuable point by taking the fight to the ground in the final stretch.

The Venezuelan landed a right bomb to the Brazilian's face, who returned to being imposing with a takedown. From above and close to the fence, Moura delivered strong blows and elbows.

In the corner, Eduardo Moura laughed at the corner's instructions and revealed her desire to 'fight' in the third round. And that's what she did. With a straight right, she shook Veronica Hardy, which continued marching forward.

“I almost left the fight”

Eduardo Moura went through a delicate situation in the UFC. The Brazilian revealed that she had a groin injury before the fight and almost had to give up on fighting. She thanked the 'Galpão da Luta' team for continuing the fight.
