Charles of the Bronx returned to the victory column by dominating Michael chandler in the co-main event of UFC 309. The Brazilian scored several takedowns throughout the 25-minute fight and was close to finishing the fight by submission on several occasions. Despite having some difficult moments in the fifth round, the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) left the octagon with a unanimous decision victory.
