At 39 years old and away from the octagon since August 2022, Dominick Cruz He's not ready to hang up his gloves yet. A former UFC bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg), the American wants to experience at least one more fight in the world's biggest MMA organization.

In an interview with the North American portal TMZ, Cruz, who has worked as an official UFC commentator for years, stated his interest in leaving the sport only after having one more fight.
“I want one last dance. Just go out there and have fun. And when I say fun, I mean fight to the death and see what I have inside me,” the fighter said.
In his last appearance, at UFC on ESPN: Vera vs. Cruz, the former champion was knocked out with a head kick by Marlon Vera in the fourth round of the event's main fight. The blow caused Cruz's nose to be broken.
