In an interview with veteran sportscaster Jim Rome, the UFC president discussed the possibility of McGregor still facing Michael chandler, the opponent he was supposed to face in the canceled main event of UFC 303 this year.

“Yeah, it’s a fun fight [McGregor-Chandler]. I think Conor and Chandler like that fight. When Conor comes back, which I see, you know, sometime late next year, we’ll see where everybody is, what’s going on, and we’ll find out who’s facing Conor. But there’s no denying — that’s why everybody was so excited about it — Chandler and Conor McGregor It's a fun fight,” Dana concluded.

Chandler was defeated by Charles from the Bronxs this past Saturday (16), in UFC 309. The Brazilian gave a 'MMA class' in the octagon, but left very dissatisfied with the refereeing, who did not see the dirty play done by the North American.
