Jon Jones has been living days of indecision. After defending the light heavyweight belt (up to 120,2 kg) at UFC 309, the American showed interest in a super fight against Alex Poatán. However, the pressure to face Tom aspinall, interim champion, is growing every day. And the latest opinion on the subject came from a big name in MMA: Conor McGregor.
In a post on social media, the Irishman did not hold back on criticizing Aspinall and said he was 'warmed up' for the fight between the Briton and Jones.

“That footage of him looking ‘pitiful’ against Rico Verhoeven is good footage for Jon to watch. I’ve been hyped for this fight. I think it should happen,” McGregor wrote, referencing the training sessions. Tom aspinall with Rico Verhoeven (see below).
Jon Jones, 37 years old, has a record of 28 wins, one loss and one 'no result' fight. Considered the 'GOAT' of MMA, the American has victories over important names, such as Alexander Gustafson (2x) Daniel Cormier, Stipe Miocic, Cyryl Gane and others.
At 31, Tom aspinall has a history of 15 positive results and three negative ones. His main victories were against Curtis blaydes, Alexander Volkov e Sergei Pavlovich. He is interim champion and made weight to be a 'reserve' in the dispute for the UFC 309.
