With the fight scheduled for next Saturday (23), at UFC Macau, in China, Carlos Ulberg is anxious to fight for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg). Although he is ranked tenth in the division, his training partner Israel adesanya believes that a victory over Volkan oezdemir will bring him close to a title fight Alex Poatán.
Ulberg told UFC News that he has already planned his path to a title shot and knows his moment is near. The New Zealander stressed that in his division, opportunities come unpredictably, and he is prepared for any challenge that comes his way.

“I know it’s going to happen, it’s all in the right time and my time will come. I know it’s not far away, so this fight is no different. He’s an experienced fighter and if I can get a good win over Oezdemir, it will catapult me high. In this division, at any moment, you can get called up for a title shot, so I’m not surprised either way; anything can happen, and I’m ready for whatever comes next year,” said Adesanya’s friend.
Carlos Ulberg, signed through the Contender Series, debuted in the UFC with a negative result, but, after that, accumulated six consecutive victories in the organization, totaling 10 victories in his career.
