Renato Moicano spared no criticism of Michael chandler after the fight between the American and Charles of the Bronx No. UFC 309, an event held last Saturday (16). On his YouTube channel, the Brazilian classified Chandler as a 'dirty fighter' and stated that the veteran does not have the necessary level to be in the top 10 of the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg).
Moicano's main dissatisfaction was with Chandler's stance during the fight. The American held onto the fence to avoid falling and struck Do Bronx in the back of the head, infractions that, according to the Brazilian, were not properly punished by the referee.

“Chandler is a very dirty fighter. It’s not the first time he’s done this. The amount of blows he gave Charles to the back of the head, the amount of times he grabbed the fence to avoid being taken down. He took a beating the entire fight. He was humiliated by Charles, that’s the truth,” said Moicano.
The Brazilian also questioned Chandler's ranking in the UFC. With four losses in his last five fights, Moicano believes that the American does not deserve to be in seventh place in the category.
“He is a guy who is not UFC level. It is a mistake for the UFC to leave this guy in the top 10 of the category,” he said.
