After more than a decade, the UFC returns to Macau, China, in an event that starts at 5 am (Brasília time) this Saturday (23). Included in one of the fights on the main card, the New Zealander Carlos Ulberg, who has fought seven times for the UFC, revealed that he believes he is close to taking the gold from none other than Alex Poatán.

Poatan has already defended the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg) three times this year, against Jamahal hill, Jiri ProchazkaKhalil rountree, respectively. Many expect a clash between the current champion and Magomed Ankalayev sometime in 2025. That is if the Brazilian doesn't move up to the heavyweight category (up to 120,2 kg), where he could face Tom aspinall or even the dreaded Jon Jones.
