Despite being a controversial duel, the fight between Jon Jones e Stipe Miocic achieved impressive numbers. Held at Madison Square Garden in New York, the box office for the UFC 309 grossed more than US$ 16,6 million (R$ 96 million at the current exchange rate). This is the fourth largest brand in the company's history.

The revenue from ticket sales for last Saturday's event (16) is only surpassed by UFC 229, in which Conor McGregor e Khabib Nurmagomedov faced each other in the biggest pay-per-view of the history of MMA.
