Magomed Ankalayev does not hide his ambition. One of the main highlights of the UFC light heavyweight (up to 93kg), the Russian has outlined an ambitious plan for 2025, with the goal of dominating the division and writing his name in the history of MMA.
On his official 'X' account (formerly Twitter), the Dagestani revealed that he intends to face Alex Poatán on two occasions and, if victorious, unify the belts against the winner of the dispute between Jamahal hill e Jiri Prochazka, which has not yet been made official by the organization.

The first battle against Poatan is scheduled for March. If the prophecy of victory comes true, the Russian has also declared an interest in holding an immediate rematch against the Brazilian in July.
With two 'imaginary victories' over Alex, Ankalaev would be willing to move forward as champion. And the Russian already has an opponent in mind for the title fight: the winner of the match between Jamahal hill e Jiri Prochazka. He even projected that the fight will take place in October, in Abu Dhabi.

Magomed Ankalayev, 31 years old, has a record of 20 wins, one loss and one draw in his professional career. Coming from sambo, the Russian is considered one of the toughest challenges for the Brazilian today.
