A battle of light heavyweight (up to 93kg) devision giants has been announced for the first numbered event of 2025. Jiri Prochazka e Jamahal hill will face each other in UFC 311, on January 18th, at the Intuit Dome, in Los Angeles (USA). The announcement was made at the post-fight show of UFC Macau, held this Saturday (23).

Prochazka also posted a photo on his Instagram account promoting the fight. The last time 'BJP' stepped into the octagon was against Alex Poatán, in June of this year. The Brazilian won by knockout in the second round.

The defeat suffered by Jiri this year was not the only one imposed by Poatan. The meeting in UFC 303 It was a rematch of the fight from November last year, when the São Paulo native also knocked out in the second round.
The opponent's last fight, Jamahal hill, was also against Alex Poatán. The fight was the main one of the UFC 300 in April of this year.
