Although he doesn't yet have a next opponent, Dan Hooker seems to be finding ways to stay close to the spotlight. In a video posted on his YouTube channel, an influencer American known as IShowSpeed had a tough time during a boxing sparring session with the fighter at the City Kickboxing gym, home to the New Zealander and other UFC stars, such as Alexander Volkanovsky e Israel adesanya.

“Alright, I think that’s enough, that was fun. That was fun. Good s***, bro, but you’re a good fighter – I could tell he was taking it easy on me,” said the American, visibly tired after the workout.
Even with the quick triumph, Hooker seemed entertained and admired by the mentality of his new training partner. Amid smiles, the lightweight (up to 70,3 kg.) called his opponent “The man”.
Darren Jason Watkins Jr., real name speed, is famous on social media for his interactions with the world of football, from players to other digital influencers. More recently, he gained recognition in Brazil by recording videos with youtuber Mason's Glove.

At 34, Dan Hooker has been involved in some of the most brutal fights in recent MMA history. After experiencing a series of defeats between 2020 and 2022, the New Zealander is ranked sixth in the UFC's most populous category, achieved after three consecutive triumphs – against Claudio Puelles placeholder image, Jailin Turner and Mateusz gamrot.
