the future of Jon Jones continues to be one of the hottest topics in the UFC world. After defending the heavyweight belt (up to 120,2 kg) and retiring Stipe Miocic, the American has been the target of much speculation about his next steps. And it was precisely about this that the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), Israel adesanya, gave his guess.
Participating in the podcast 'FLAGRANT', the Nigerian did not hide his excitement at the possibility of seeing Jones face Tom aspinall, current interim belt holder.

“That’s the fight we all want to see. They have to fight. I think, gosh, (Jones) finds a way, but Aspinall, so far, the way he’s dispatched (Sergei Pavlovich), my God, he’s fast,” Adesanya said.
The Nigerian's opinion is in line with what UFC president Dana White has already stated. According to the president, the fight between Jones and Aspinall would be the biggest in heavyweight history. But 'Bones' is adamant about another plan: a superfight with Alex Poatán.
The current heavyweight champion, who is considered by many to be the 'GOAT' of MMA, has expressed interest in big fights, which could also bring a greater financial return. He stated that would accept to face Tom aspinall only with a good financial reward.
