Daiane Silva has left the hospital. The featherweight (up to 65,8 kg) of the PFL was hospitalized in London in September, when she would make her Bellator debut. The promising fighter suffered from kidney failure during the weight-cutting process. She had to be put into an induced coma. The fight with Eman Almudhaf was canceled.

The athlete's manager, Alex Davis, confirmed her discharge to Canadian journalist Ariel Helwani. According to him, Daiane is undergoing rehabilitation in Brazil. The team's initial concern was that the athlete from Paraná would have to undergo dialysis for the rest of her life. But fortunately, that will not be necessary. The manager also thanked the organization for supporting the professional.
“We are very grateful to Mike Kogan from Bellator and Eduardo Lima from PFL, who have stood by her through thick and thin. I believe and what the doctors are saying is that she will make a full recovery,” Davis told 'Uncrowned'.
Despite the good news, it is not possible to know whether Daiane Silva will return to cages. According to Alex, it is too early to estimate the possibility of a return.
The Brazilian is 29 years old and has three fights in her professional career, fought since 2020. She won them all, two by submission and one by decision.
