Despite having started his career in the Ultimate with a victory in the 100th edition of UFC Vegas, Ridder's Reinier is just at the beginning of his journey and there seems to be no time to waste. According to journalist Alexander Behunin, from the North American website MMA Mania, the Dutchman returns to the octagon in the first pay-per-view of 2025, against Kevin holland. The fight will be valid for the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg) and will take place on January 18, in Los Angeles.

Unlike the black belt in judo and jiu-jitsu, Kevin holland has extensive experience in the UFC. An employee of the company since 2018, the American has entered the octagon 23 times, however, he is not in good form. In the last five fights, he has only two victories. In his last appearance, in UFC 307, was defeated by Roman Dolidze.
