Taila Santos makes weight and confirms title fight and million-dollar prize in the PFL finals

Former UFC title challenger Taila Santos fights for the title and a $1 million prize at the PFL this Friday (29)

Taila Santos took an important step in her quest to win the PFL flyweight tournament (up to 65,7 kg), with a prize of US$ 1 million (approximately R$ 5,98 million) at the current exchange rate. On the morning of this Thursday (28), the day before the grand final of the competition against Dakota Ditcheva, the fighter from Santa Catarina won the challenge against the scales at the official weigh-in of the event, which takes place this Friday (29), in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Scheduled for the co-main fight of the PFL World Championsip 2024, Taila Santos hit 56,7 kg, the weight limit for the flyweight division. The Brazilian's opponent, the undefeated British fighter Dakota Ditcheva, also confirmed her presence, hitting 56,6 kg. Like Taila Santos and Dakota Ditcheva, all ten others involved in the event's tournament finals fulfilled their commitments and stayed within the limits of their respective categories.
