Patrick Pitbull opened up about his plans for the future and did not hide his dissatisfaction with the recent merger between Bellator and PFL. In an interview with the channel 'Laerte Viana na Área – MMA', the Brazilian revealed that he is analyzing the possibility of moving to the UFC, where he sees more opportunities and a more competitive scenario.
“I don’t think about renewing. My intention now is to leave. I usually compare my age with that of the most hyped guy right now, which is Alex Poatán. We are the same age. I feel good. I am analyzing the UFC featherweight category, I think it is great”, said Pitbull.

The decision by the champion from Rio Grande do Norte is directly linked to his dissatisfaction with the merger between the two largest MMA organizations outside the UFC. The Brazilian, like other athletes, criticized the downtime imposed by the new management and the lack of opportunities for fighters.
“I was even studying the guys this week. I saw the Diego lopes, who would be the reserve (for the title). If you want to put me right there against the Diego lopes, or with any of them, I'm ready. I see myself fighting and I already have a strategy”, added the fighter.

His possible arrival in the UFC would be a great boost for the featherweight division, which has Ilia Topuria as champion.
