The rivalry between Francis Ngannou e Jon Jones, two of the biggest names in world MMA, continues to be hot on social media. After 'Bones' defended his heavyweight title (up to 120,2kg) at UFC 309 and be the target of criticism for supposedly avoiding more dangerous challenges, the current PFL champion did not miss the opportunity to stir up the atmosphere even more.
In response to criticism that he was 'running away' from more challenging fights, Jones stated that his achievements in the sport reward him financially to ironize those who accuse him of cowardice.

“It’s crazy how being called a ‘coward’ pays better than most of you internet bullies will ever make in a lifetime,” the UFC champion wrote.
Ngannou, for his part, did not let the provocation go unnoticed. The former UFC heavyweight champion responded with an enigmatic message.
“Blessings make haters uncomfortable, but they can’t change that. There is only one fight, the right fight that will multiply your blessings. Ngannou vs. Jones,” he countered.
The exchange of barbs between the two fighters further fuels fans' anticipation for a showdown between them. Francis, however, left with a strong feud with Dana White, which makes his return unlikely. Jones, on the other hand, is being speculated to fight Alex Poatán and Tom Aspinal in the final stretch of his career.
