He knows he can disorientate his opponent before he can execute any important action. It’s a game of patience. He moves his front hand and, in the meantime, prepares to surprise with kicks or other strikes,” said Aspinall.
The UFC is preparing to schedule a possible duel between the two, but Aspinall did not spare praise for his possible opponent. He left the rivalry aside and highlighted the difficulty of facing a fighter with 'Bones's' mental control.
“It’s not just physical strength. He manipulates the fight in a psychological way that few can understand until they’re in it. What he does with his front hand is just one of the many layers of his game,” he concluded.
