Alexandre Pantoja won the flyweight title (up to 56,7 kg) by defeating Brandon Moreno at UFC 290 in July 2023. After that, the Brazilian defended his title against Brandon Royval and Steve Erceg . His next opponent, the debuting Kai Asakura , is a former Rizin champion and is known for being very aggressive in his fights. The Japanese fighter has promised he will try to secure a quick knockout against the champion.
But according to 'BK8' , Pantoja's track record keeps him as the favorite to retain the title, paying R$ 1,36 against R$ 3,10 for Asakura.

The rematch between Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov is surrounded by expectations, considering the history of both and their recent evolutions in the octagon. In their first encounter, in 2021, Gane won by unanimous decision, but since then, Volkov has shown great progress, adjusting his training and accumulating dominant victories.
