According to information from journalist Alex Behunin of 'MMA Mania', the UFC is negotiating a duel between the fighter from Rondônia and veteran Jared Cannonier for the main event of UFC Las Vegas 102 , on February 15th.
Former LFA champion and UFC fighter since 2021, Gregory Robocop is enjoying a great run in the organization, with five wins in his last six fights and three consecutive victories, the most recent of which was against Christian Leroy Duncan at UFC 304 in July. Despite his good form, the Brazilian is not ranked in the top 15 of the middleweight division.

On the other side, Jared Cannonier , at 40 years old, will be headlining his fifth consecutive UFC event. The American, who fought for the title in July 2022 and was defeated by Israel Adesanya , currently occupies the eighth position in the middleweight rankings and has suffered consecutive defeats against Nassourdine Imavov and, more recently, Caio Borralho in August.
If confirmed, the duel between Gregory Robocop and Jared Cannonier will be the ninth confirmed for the event on February 15th, which already has Brazilian fighters Ismael and Gabriel Bonfim , Rodolfo Vieira , and Rafael Estevam on the card.
