Big Bad Wolf! Khamzat Chimaev sends chilling warning to confident Ian Garry

Ian Machado Garry is with the confidence in the heights. Chosen at the last minute to face Shavkat Rakhmonov No. UFC 310 instead of Belal Muhammad |, who was left out of the event due to of an injury in one of his toes, the Irish welterweight fighter (up to 77,1 kg) is already counting on victory in the fight next Saturday (7) and is still planning to fly higher in the organization.

During an interview with journalist 'Ariel Helwani', Garry said that after defeating Rakhmonov, he will win the belt in the category against Belal, move up to the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), defeat Kahmzat Chimaev by the 'title shot' and thus win the title that currently belongs to Dricus Du Plessis.

“I fight and beat Shavkat, I win the world title, I move up to middleweight and fight Khamzat and win that belt too,” said Garry.

But Kamzat Chimaev didn't like Garry's plans at all. Through his official 'X' account (formerly Twitter), the 'Wolf' sent a frightening message to the Irish fighter.

“You are a very skinny boy, don’t get close to the wolf’s teeth, you will end up without a head,” Chimaev wrote.

Both Garry and Rakhmonov enter the octagon at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (USA) undefeated. The Irishman has a record of 15 wins while the Kazakh has 18. This time, one of the two will return home with his first defeat under his belt.

Chimaev is also undefeated. The 'Wolf' has 14 wins and is currently ranked third in the middleweight rankings. His last win was against the former champion Robert whittaker, at UFC 308.
