Vicente Luque opens doors to face Carlos Prates, but imposes condition for UFC fight

After finishing Themba Gorimbo with a triangle choke in less than a minute on the preliminary card of UFC 310, another Brazilian may be on the radar of Vincent Luque: Carlos Prates. In the post-event press conference, the welterweight (up to 77,1 kg.) did not oppose a confrontation with his compatriot, but made it clear that he expects to see at least one more triumph from his possible opponent.

"If I have the opportunity to fight in Brasilia, it would be a joy. I don't live there anymore, but it's still my home. Carlos Prates He's a great fighter, I really like watching him fight. But I've already come a long way and now I just want to face top 10 fighters. So, win one more, get into the top 10 and we'll fight it out", said the fighter when asked by SUPER FIGHTS.

The victory last Saturday (7) was special for Luque. Now, the Brazilian is the second fighter with the most victories in the fast lane in the history of the category, behind only Matt Brown. Despite showing himself willing to face Prates, he challenged Jorge masvidal still inside the octagon.
