Renato Moicano believes he is ready to fight for the UFC lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg). The Brazilian will enter the octagon again on January 18th at UFC 311, against Beneil Dariush. In the same event that has as its main fight the dispute for the belt of its division between the current champion Islam makhachev e Arman Tsarukyan.

“If the UFC offered me a fight like Dan Hooker or someone in the top 5, of course I would accept it. But it is what it is. I don't have much choice in how these things work. But I'm sure the UFC knows what they're doing, especially fighting on the same day card, like a big card, huge card. The same day as the Islam makhachev e Arman Tsarukyan, my plan is to go in there, dominate Dariush, finish him off, grab the mic and plead my case for a title fight,” said Moicano.
