Fired from the UFC due to problems caused by his behavior outside the octagon, Muhammad Mokaev returns to action next Friday (13) at BRAVE CF 91, in Bahrain. At 24 years old, 'The Punisher', who last fought at UFC 304 in July, assures that he is not yet in his best shape.

In a recent interview with Fight Book MMA, Mokaev spoke about his mindset and stated that he believes he has not yet reached his physical peak. The fighter hopes to become even stronger in the coming years, when he will reach his peak performance. He sees himself as a future number one in the world.
“I see a lot of people acknowledging that I am one of the best flyweights in the world. But I believe that I am still young, I am not yet at my physical peak. I am winning because of my hard work. I think that when I reach my physical peak, around 26 or 27, I will be even stronger, and then you will see the difference. I will be the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the world! When you face the best in the world, you have to sacrifice everything. That is what separates a champion from a non-champion,” said Mokaev.
With 13 wins and no losses, Mokaev signed his return to BRAVE shortly after his departure from the UFC. His return to the organization will be against Filipino flyweight Joevincent So, who accepted the fight at the last minute.
