While Israel Adesanya calmly watched UFC Tampa last Saturday (14) at his home in New Zealand, he didn't imagine that a simple day of rest would end up turning into another chapter in the growing rivalry with Manel Kape . The Portuguese used his victory over Bruno Bulldoguinho to send a direct message to the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg), who had a surprising reaction.
The moment was recorded in a video on Adesanya's official channel, where the Nigerian, while eating, watched Kape's victory by technical knockout in the third round. After the fight, the flyweight gave an impassioned speech, with harsh words directed at the former champion among other names in his division.

“Fuck Kai Kara-France , fuck Moreno, fuck Adesanya. I’m next against Alexandre Pantoja . There are levels to this game, and I’m the guy who’s going to destroy Pantoja,” Kape exclaimed.
The comment caught Adesanya by surprise, but he, as always, maintained his good humor. In his video, Alex Poatan 's rival also joked about Kape's apparent obsession with mentioning him.
“Why is he calling me names? I told him he was fine, I complimented his performance, and he comes up with this? Okay, I’ll keep being honest, but he’s still a little b*tch (…), it feels like he’s stuck in my head, right? I barely thought this was something personal for him, but apparently, he hasn’t forgotten me,” Izzy reacted.
The rivalry between the two is already well-known. It all started in 2023 at UFC 293 , during a press conference where Kape publicly criticized Adesanya's partner, Kai Kara-France , after the flyweight withdrew from a fight. Since then, the fighter has provoked not only the 'Stylebender', but also other members of the famous City Kickboxing team.
