After pointing out the doctor responsible for the interruption as the culprit for his defeat to Joaquin buckley in the main fight of UFC Tampa, last Saturday (14), Colby covington chose another person to blame for the setback: Donald Trump, at least indirectly.

A voter and personal friend of the president-elect of the United States, the welterweight (up to 77,1 kg) justified his poor performance in a video published on his official YouTube channel, claiming that he was very busy campaigning for Trump and therefore trained little for the fight.

“I’m going to let this fuel me. I’m going to have a full training camp. I took this fight at the last minute. This was for the organization and the fans. I didn’t have a full camp, I was campaigning for Trump. I wasn’t in the gym. I went from the couch to the fight. It’s tough like that,” Covington lamented.
