Jake Paul and Nate Diaz rekindle rivalry and plan MMA fight: 'He's scared'

It seems that the rivalry between Jake Paul e Nate diaz has been rekindled. Both the YouTuber and the former UFC athlete have been mentioning each other's names frequently. And this time, the discussion revolves around a possible MMA rematch.

At a press conference held on Friday in Orlando, Paul commented on the possibility of competing in MMA in 2025 and stated that this will depend, in large part, on which opponent is willing to accept the fight. The YouTuber mentioned Diaz and stated that the former UFC fighter is afraid to face him, even if a duel between the two would guarantee the biggest purse of the fighter's career.

“We want to do the fight, but our opponents really don’t want to. It’s funny. Nate diaz He's really scared to face me in MMA, for real. The biggest purse of his life would be to face me in MMA... I'm ready," he said. Jake Paul.

It didn't take long for Nate diaz to counter these statements. The fighter posted a video of Paul's comments on 'X', but added his own caption.
“Sign the contract, you coward, and don’t stop in 12 months and in a shitty organization,” Diaz wrote.

Jake Paul e Nate diaz faced each other in a boxing match in August 2023. On that occasion, the YouTuber won by unanimous decision. Since then, Diaz has competed once again in boxing and overcome Jorge masvidal by majority decision.

Meanwhile, Paul has amassed a record of 4 wins and no losses, with victories over Andre August, Ryan Bourland, Mike Perry e Mike Tyson. The YouTuber currently has an agreement with the PFL, which both parties say guarantees that he will compete in MMA under that organization in the future.
