After Gilbert Durinho leak his phone number 'X' (formerly Twitter), Chael took to his YouTube channel and answered a fan Q&A session for nearly an hour – complete with an announcement from his sponsor. The Brazilian fighter provided the number after a provocation on the program 'Bad Guy, good guy', when the North American suggested that Durinho was retired.

In the video titled 'Gilbert Durinho posted Chael's phone number, the former fighter explains how the situation reached this level, telling how the comment was on the program he shares with Daniel Cormier. He also recognizes that he was wrong when he did the same.
